The Conservatory at One Sansome sits in the heart of San Francisco, a light filled space with soaring ceilings and an airy quality that makes it a beautiful canvas for a South Asian wedding. For this Indian wedding, the brightness of the space lets the color, the textiles, and the traditions take center stage.
Kavya and Sreekar's Telugu wedding was deeply rooted in tradition from start to finish. Every ceremony was honored, every ritual given the time and intention it deserved. That kind of day has its own energy, and it shows in the gallery.
The florals by M.Flora were some of the most stunning I have photographed. Rich, lush, and completely in conversation with the rest of the design. Amora handled the planning and design and brought the full vision together seamlessly.
Kavya wore two traditional Kanchipuram sarees throughout the wedding ceremonies before changing into a beautiful blush pink lehenga for the reception. Sreekar complemented her perfectly, beginning the day in a traditional sherwani before transitioning to a classic dhoti look, and then closing out the night in an embellished Indo-Western suit with intricate embroidery and beadwork. The looks told their own story across the day.
